The FieldLogger is an industrial data logger designed for the precise and continuous monitoring of temperature, humidity, and other analog and digital variables in various industrial environments. With advanced technology, high reading rates, and extensive connectivity, it offers a robust and efficient solution for managing critical variables in sectors such as cold chains, laboratories, HVAC installations, manufacturing, and renewable energy. The FieldLogger also complies with FDA CFR 21 Part 11 requirements, ensuring data integrity and traceability in regulated systems like pharmaceutical and food industries.
* 8 Universal Analog Input Channels: Supports multiple sensor types, including thermocouples, Pt100, Pt1000, voltage signals (V, mV), and current (mA). With reading and recording rates of up to 1000 readings per second and 24-bit A/D conversion resolution, it guarantees precise and detailed monitoring.
* 8 Configurable Digital I/Os and 2 Relay Outputs: The digital I/Os can be individually configured as inputs or outputs, and the relay outputs (NO, NC, common) allow local control of devices or alarms.
* High-Performance Storage and Logging: The FieldLogger has memory to store up to 512k of data, with the possibility of expansion via an SD card, allowing the logging of up to 100 channels at configurable rates. Data can be downloaded through software or via a USB-host interface using a flash drive.
* Versatile Connectivity for Full Integration: The device offers Ethernet, USB, and RS485 interfaces. It supports Modbus communication (master or slave) and can read up to 64 registers from other Modbus slaves, using this data for logging, alarms, or calculations. The Ethernet interface includes:
* Email notifications for alarm alerts (SMTP)
* Integrated web server for real-time data and status consultation (HTTP)
* Log download via FTP (client and server)
* SNMP support for remote management and alarm traps
* Modbus communication over Ethernet (Modbus TCP)
* 32 Configurable Alarms: Each alarm can trigger relays, digital outputs, send emails to multiple recipients, or activate SNMP traps, enabling a quick and efficient response to critical events.
* Advanced Calculation and Monitoring Capabilities: The FieldLogger has 128 virtual channels where basic mathematical functions (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) and logical operations (AND, OR, XOR) can be applied, offering flexibility for calculations and signal combinations.
* Auxiliary Power and Flexible Supply Options: It offers a 24 VDC auxiliary power source to power up to 8 transmitters (4-20 mA), with AC (100-240 VAC) or DC (12-30 VDC) power options.
* Removable Human-Machine Interface (Optional): A color TFT QVGA display with a keypad for easy interaction, connected via RS485 for remote control and data visualization.
The FieldLogger is ideal for industries requiring precise and reliable control of variables such as temperature and humidity. Its main applications include:
* Cold Chains: Rigorous temperature control to ensure the quality and safety of perishable products.
* Food and Pharmaceutical Warehouses: Precise monitoring of storage conditions to comply with strict regulations.
* HVAC Systems: Real-time control and monitoring of climate control equipment, optimizing efficiency.
* Laboratories and Research Centers: Accurate recording and analysis of critical environmental data.
* Photovoltaic Plants: Monitoring of meteorological stations and key variables through advanced sensors, with data transmission to SCADA platforms and cloud systems.
The FieldLogger includes an installation kit for the Human-Machine Interface (HMI), facilitating remote monitoring and configuration. Its intuitive, color interface allows quick access to critical information, optimizing its use in demanding industrial environments.
The FieldLogger is the ideal solution for those seeking a reliable, precise, and connected industrial data logger. With its advanced connectivity, real-time monitoring, and calculation capabilities, it reinforces NOVUS' commitment to innovation in measurement and control, establishing itself as a global reference in solutions for industrial automation.
