NOVUS USB-i485 converter is a fast and safe solution interface between computers and RS485 or RS422 industrial communication buses.
When you connect the USB-i485 converter to a computer's USB port, it will be automatically detected, and installed on the machine as a native COM port, compatible with any existing serial communication application. It is possible to install multiple converters in the application using USB hubs, making it easy to configure multi-serial systems without worrying about IRQ or DMA configurations.
In addition, the 1500 Vdc isolation between the USB and RS485 / RS422 inputs protects the computer from spikes, surges and misconnections in the communication bus.
