NOVUS introduces TxIsoRail-HRT and TxIsoBlock-HRT, a new line of temperature transmitters that brings the robustness and reliability of NOVUS devices combined with HART® protocol certification, recognized worldwide as an industry communication standard for smart field devices.
The great differential of both TxIsoRail-HRT and TxIsoBlock-HRT is to allow full configuration through the two-wire current loop 4-20 mA, which means more features for setting up and monitoring the device. With input-output electrical isolation, these transmitters support voltage surges up to 1.5 kVrms.
HART® protocol emerged in the 1980s to allow two-way communication beyond the normal process variables. It is currently supported by more than 40 million field instruments, making the new temperature transmitters versatile and flexible devices with consistent and stable communication.
TxIsoRail-HRT and TxIsoBlock-HRT can be configured by NOVUS configurators and HART®-certified software and interfaces, which provide compatibility between HART® devices from different manufacturers.
