Using the FieldLogger Auxiliary RS485 Port
The FieldLogger has, underneath its HMI (human-machine interface), a DB9 connector with a slave RS485/Modbus interface. This interface, originally designed to communicate data only with the FieldLogger HMI, has become a generic RS485/Modbus interface from firmware version 1.20. This interface is always slave, unlike the main interface that can be configured as master or slave.
